A real-world zine exchange for an online community—tactile, tangible, and full of surprises.
Zine trading has a long history, but when most of our community exists online, it can be hard to keep that tradition alive. I’ve been craving more IRL interaction—something tangible that connects us beyond screens. So! I’ve got an idea… let’s see if it works 😊.
Introducing the Zinestack Chain Mail Club
How It Works:
Sign up here. Once we have 8-10 zinemakers, I’ll start a chain.
I will mail a zine (along with printed instructions) to the first person on the list. The instructions will travel with the zines through each exchange.
When you receive a zine, check off your name and send one of your own to the next person on the list.
The last person sends a zine back to me—completing the loop!
Your only job? Don’t break the chain!

Sounds so fun! I would sign up but I'm in Portugal so I'm afraid the long postal time could cause a chain break.
