A business card zine gives them a glimpse of who you are. It’s the difference between a handshake and a conversation. With just a few folded panels, you can share your creative process, showcase your work, explain your services, or tell a tiny story that sticks. It makes your first impression feel thoughtful, memorable, and—most of all—human.
Thank you for sharing! This week, I helped my special education students make zines about their favorite things…the tk, k, 1, 2, 3 grade version of a zine business card! I love this idea and your business card!
Happy to share the Canva template for my zine business card if anyone needs a jump start! I started with a simple text based design and then evolved to something with more personality (both versions are in the template!)
I’ve also used this to make a project specific business card to promote the podcast I co-host. It has info about the show, the most popular episodes, and host bios.
Did I tell you that Bri and I were in a zine/art show together at a local bookstore called Page Against the Machine? We didn't get to meet because she couldn't attend the show opening, but we live about a mile from each other (I only know this because she's shown her apartment bldg in the background sometimes and I drive by it almost every day–not a stalker, I promise).
Small world! I just came across her channel when searching for resources for today's newsletter but I'm going to have to dive down a rabbit hole on YouTube and check out her other videos.
I love this idea. Your own little mini autobiography in your pocket.🫠🤩

I was trying to put a picture but I can’t figure out where the notes part is! Oh well…
Did you see my article on this very topic? https://open.substack.com/pub/templeofartists/p/biz-card-or-no-biz-card-that-is-the?
I didn’t! Thank you for sharing. 🩷

Downloading the Canva template! Fun, fun, fun!

She's prolific as hell. So much stuff shared.
